PM attends state banquet hosted for world leaders

BEIJING: On Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted a state banquet for world leaders taking part in the Third Belt and Road Forum. Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, was present. Senior cabinet ministers accompanied the prime minister, according to a news statement from the PM Office Media Wing. The chiefs of state and government of various other international countries, including those of Russia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mongolia, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Papua New Guinea, Mozambique, and Chile, attended the banquet, which was held at the famous Great Hall of the Peoples. First Lady Madame Peng Liyuan and President Xi greeted the prime minister at the banquet. Additionally, Prime Minister Kakar engaged in casual conversations with the international leaders present at the function.
