Dr. Nadeem Jan, the acting federal minister for health, stated on Monday that the government intended to incorporate nutrition, cleanliness, and health into the curricula to raise awareness among people starting in childhood. He was speaking at a women’s convention on “Family Planning and Population,” which was put on by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination’s Population Programme Wing (PPW). The minister stated that increasing women’s awareness and knowledge about family planning and population challenges, particularly among rural women, was the primary goal of the convention. According to him, Pakistan’s population was adding almost 6.1 million new people year, which is an extremely fast growth rate.
