Minister in Cairo to participate in health forum

ISLAMABAD: Dr. Nadeem Jan, the interim federal minister for health, travelled to Cairo on Sunday to take part in the regional health summit. The health minister was welcomed by ambassador Sajid Bilal. Beginning tomorrow, the minister will represent Pakistan at the summit for the Eastern Mediterranean Region. A side meeting with friendly nations has been organised by the minister, according to the health ministry spokesperson. The eradication of polio is one of the topics on the agenda, along with other topics including the Global Health Security Summit.
