ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Defence, Lieutenant General (R) Anwar Ali Hyder has said that as Pakistan Air Force (PAF) remains at the forefront of modern security challenges, therefore, it would be equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
This was stated by him during his visit to Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday, where he had a productive meeting with Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
Matters pertaining to the evolving geo-strategic environment and regional security situation came under discussion during the meeting.
Chief of the Air Staff gave a briefing on Pakistan Air Force’s modernization plan and recent acquisitions from allied countries, aimed at ensuring an impregnable aerial defence of the country.
