Assemblies to be dissolved on August 09 night: Rana Sana

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stated in an interview that the assembly would be dissolved on the  evening of August 9. Rana Sanaullah, veteran of the ruling PML-N, emphatically declared that the elections would not be postponed for any particular reason or as part of  plot. The interior minister stated that “notifying new census will create more contentious issues” in response  to the call for conducting elections over the new population count. In response to query, PML-N stalwart said that his party had not recommended Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for the position of  interim prime minister. “Ishaq Dar, Senator Raza Rabbani, or any other politician from political party can be named for the  post of the caretaker PM,” he continued.

“Nawaz Sharif will return back home one-and-half month before the election,” Sanaullah said.

“We want the chairman PTI to be disqualified from a court of law and be sentenced to jail,” replying a question about the future of the PTI leader he stated.
