ISLAMABAD: According to Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister of Finance and Revenue, Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have strong relations on many fronts, including the economy and trade, in addition to their long-standing historical, religious, and cultural ties.
According to a news release, he discussed these opinions with Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, the Kingdom’s ambassador to Pakistan, who paid him a visit here. The minister informed the representative of the government’s plans and initiatives to boost the economy of the nation through the ensuing budget.
He also thanked the ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s valuable support to Pakistan on economic and financial fronts.
Speaking on the occasion, the Saudi envoy reciprocated the sentiments about the long-term relationship between the two countries and expressed the Kingdom’s desire to further strengthen economic and commercial ties with Pakistan.
