ISLAMABAD: Marriyum Aurangzeb, minister of information and broadcasting, said on Thursday that measures were being taken to make sure that no one in the future could engage in anti-state activities while posing as a politician.
She responded to Imran Khan’s statement by saying that plans were being made to end Imran’s “fascism, anti-nationalism, and invasion on the state” once and for all. According to the minister, precautions are being taken to ensure that future attacks on the state and vandalism of martyr and Ghazi memorials are prevented. She claimed that during Imran’s rule, his opponents’ daughters were arrested in front of their parents and their sisters were dragged, but no one invaded the state like he did. Imran’s goons also attacked the homes of opponents’ daughters, she claimed.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said, “Imran punished the country and the masses by wearing the cloak of politics”.
He did not even spare the country’s economy and deprived the people of employment and two-time meal.
“Arrangements are being made so that in the future of Pakistan, no one dares to make such an attempt,” she said.
