FM Bilawal calls on Balochistan CM

QUETTA: On Thursday in Gwadar, the Central President of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, met with the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

They discussed topics of shared interest, such as the nation’s political climate, and expressed their condemnation for the rise in political unrest as well as the politics of violence and arson. Both leaders stated during the meeting that the people of Pakistan rejected negative politics and were pleased with the country’s unwavering confidence in the Pakistani Army and other national security institutions. The meeting also covered the building and development of Balochistan as well as problem-solving.

Chief Minister said that the development of Balochistan was not possible without the practical cooperation of the Federation saying that Balochistan was also facing a shortage of NFC award funds and the province’s dues were not being paid by PPL.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was giving importance to small provinces suffering from deprivation.

“I will talk to the prime minister and the relevant federal ministers for the financial problems of Balochistan with the aim to address them for the interest of the province”, he said.
