9th May deadly violence was pre-planned: Ahsan Iqbal

Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister for planning, stated on Monday that PTI leader Imran Khan should appear in court if he believed himself to be innocent and that the party’s deadly violent protests on May 9 in various parts of the nation were pre-planned.

He added that evidence had been gathered, everyone involved in or responsible for the violence had been identified, and they would all face justice. PTI, he claimed, had planned the violence in advance and incited it at specific locations. The leader of PTI always blamed the country’s rival leaders for all wrongdoings, while he himself was trying to avoid responsibility.

He also said that Imran Khan caused great financial loss to the national exchequer, adding, Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and other PML-N leaders faced trials bravely and proved their innocence.
