‘Elections should be held in Oct 2023’: Khurram Dastagir

ISLAMABAD: Khurram Dastagir Khan, federal minister for power for the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), stated on Friday that the election should take place in October 2023 at the scheduled time and neither earlier nor later.

He claimed that Imran Khan’s popularity was restricted to social media when speaking to the media. He added that he didn’t see the point in engaging in negotiations with the PTI because Imran Khan had a history of making decisions that he later regretted because of his tendency to be indecisive. Khurram questioned why only the Punjab province was subject to the requirement for elections to be held within 90 days.
