Steps being taken for welfare of prisoners: Senior Superintendent Central Jail Sahiwal Asghar Gujjar

Sahiwal: A delegation of United Media and Lawyers Forum led by senior journalist Chaudhry Wasim Irshad and Malik Ihtsham Ali Phularwan met with the Superintendent Central Jail Sahiwal Asghar Gujjar. The delegation was led by Malik Ihtsham Ali Phularwan, Chaudhry Wasim Irshad and Ghulam Abbas Khachi Advocate. Nasir Abbas Khachi Advocate, Senior Journalist Sharif Mughal and Anchor Person Senior Journalist Mr. Sheikh Ali were also included in the delegation.

On this occasion, Senior Superintendent Central Jail Sahiwal Asghar Gujjar said that the media are the eyes and ears of our society and we will highlight positive things together with the media. The best facility is also being provided. Superintendent Jail Asghar Gujjar further said that as always, I will continue my efforts for the reformation and welfare of the prisoners in Sahiwal Jail because hatred is caused by crime and not by human beings.

To provide the best opportunities for living so that after being released from prison, the prisoner can live his life as a respected member of the society with dignity and respect. That is why steps are being taken to train prisoners in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and TEVTA to make the prisoners skilled. The delegation of United Media and Lawyers Forum also assured all kinds of support for the welfare of the jail and prisoners.
