Attempt to smuggle wheat foiled

Uch Sharif: An attempt to smuggle 1620 bags of wheat to other districts failed, two trailers of wheat were seized. According to details, Food Inspector Rizwan Asad Waraich along with his team foiled the bid smuggle wheat to other districts during checking at the interchange Uch Sharif.  Failing the attempt to sell wheat, 1620 bags of wheat were seized along with 2 trailer drivers and the recovered wheat and trailer were handed over to the custody of Uch Sharif police station and cases were registered.  To prevent the transfer, the entry and exit routes of the city have been blocked and the checking period has also been extended to prevent illegal transportation and smuggling of wheat and to ensure enforcement of illegal transfer of wheat.
