Chiniot: According to the orders of the Inspector General of Police, Punjab, steps are being taken for the welfare of police officers and jawans. A ceremony was held at the District Police Officer’s office, Chiniot, to distribute checks of subsistence allowance to the widows of police officers who died during service. District Police Officer Chiniot Waseem Riaz Khan met with the families of the policemen, inquired about their well-being. The DPO discussed with the families regarding the education of the children.
The DPO distributed checks worth more than 8 lakh rupees to the widows of the police officers who died during service. Speaking on this occasion, DPO Wasim Riaz Khan said that martyrs, during service, the families of the deceased police officers and jawans are being taken care of. Their families’ sorrow is our sorrow. All possible measures are being taken for their welfare. Recruitment is being done in the police.
