Minister for Communications urges promotion of Tunneling industry in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, Federal Minister for Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood emphasized the necessity of the Tunneling Institute of Pakistan (TIP) to more accurately identify the country’s academics, professionals, and tunneling industry. According to a press release, the Minister recognized TIP’s importance and urged the officials to get involved in the tunneling projects. He promised full cooperation from the Ministry of Communications during his visit to TIP and stated that such initiatives should be promoted at both the national and international levels.

Secretary Communications Captain (R) Khurram Agha, Inspector General Motorway Police Sultan Khawaja also accompanied the Federal Minister.

The TIP Official briefed the Minister regarding the newly constructed premises of the Tunneling Institute and the promotion of the tunneling profession in the country.
