Women protest ‘unfair’ distribution of flour

Khangarh:  In Khangarh, a large number of women blocked the national highway and shouted slogans against the district administration in Khangarh on Friday due to the alleged non-distribution of government free flour.  After negotiating, the protest was ended.  According to the details, after the Punjab government announced the provision of free flour to the deserving and poor people in the month of Ramadan, the district administration of Muzaffargarh started the process of providing free flour by making flour points throughout the district and one point Khangarh Stadium.  It was also made in where the Finance Department started providing free government flour under the patronage of local Patwaris of Khangarh, but the Patwaris on duty alleged started unfair distribution of flour on the basis of their loved ones, friends of the constituency and political recommendations, from which the daily deserving after waiting the whole day without receiving flour, men and women started returning home in the evening disappointed.  The highway was closed and the angry men and women shouting slogans told the media that the distribution of flour here is unfair due to which the deserving people are humiliated while the patwaris and touts are making waves while the district administration of Muzaffargarh is also allegedly not taking any action.  He is reluctant, he took notice from the Chief Minister of Punjab  Action has been demanded while Khangarh police reached the spot on receiving the information and after several hours of negotiations ended the protest and opened the road.
