Law and order in the city will be ensured: Chiniot District Police Officer Waseem Riaz Khan

Chiniot: District Police Officer Chiniot Waseem Riaz Khan held a meeting with the members of the Peace Committee of District Chiniot. District Peace Committee officials, members, DPO office officers participated in the meeting.  The law and order situation in Chiniot district was reviewed and other important issues were discussed. Security and other arrangements regarding Ramadan were discussed.                                  DPO Waseem Riaz Khan while speaking said that the establishment of law and order in the city will be ensured in every case. Strict security arrangements will be ensured at mosques, Imambargahs in Ramadan with a coordinated strategy.  Scholars and peace committee have an ideal role in establishing religious harmony, tolerance and peace.

The role of the Peace Committee in making Chiniot a cradle of peace and establishing the rule of law is commendable.  The members of the peace committee should keep a close eye on the miscreants and play their role to maintain the peace and order situation, promote religious harmony and tolerance.  The members of the peace committee assured their full cooperation and reiterated that people of all schools of thought in Chiniot district want peace and show religious tolerance.  At the end of the meeting, a special prayer was offered for the survival and security of the country of Pakistan.
