MDA Director General Dr. Muhammad Zahid Ikram holds weekly progress report meeting with directors

Director General MDA Dr. Muhammad Zahid Ikram’s weekly progress report meeting was held with directors. Director Finance and Administration Shakir Abbas Buzdar, Director Engineering Rana Waseem, Director Town Planning Madam Anaiza, Director Urban Planning Kaswar Abbas, Director Legal Tahir Shah, Director IT Muhammad Hazifa, Director Traffic and Transport Planning Rao Zaka ur Rehman and other officers participated in the meeting. Director General MDA took a briefing on the progress report of all directorates and expressed satisfaction. On this occasion, Director General MDA Dr. Muhammad Zahid Ikram said that the public awareness campaign about illegal housing schemes should be fast. Spread the message of awareness about illegal housing scheme and illegal constructions from door to door. The staff of Enforcement Directorate should be divided into area wise sectors and zones and assigned duties. Provide timely maintenance of MDA official vehicles and maintain complete records. Take steps to appoint a Special Judicial Magistrate to look into the affairs of MDA. Take steps to settle audit paras of MDA, Suggestions should be prepared to provide good health facilities to the employees. The Director General further said that steps should be taken to auction commercial plots in MDA’s housing schemes. He issued instructions to Director Engineering Rana Waseem and said that the construction of Fertilization Center in Fatima Jinnah Town should be started immediately. Steps should be taken to develop playgrounds and parks of Fatima Jinnah Town. Immediately plot the area allotted to Fatima Jinnah and issue advertisement for auction of commercial plots.
