Lodhran: Commissioner Multan Division Engineer Aamir Khattak made a surprise visit to Lodhran to review the supply of free flour to the citizens, for the convenience of the citizens; he visited Makhdoom Ali Tehsil Dunyapur, Entry Point Lodhran Marriage Hall, Lodhran Public School, Government Associate College established in Lodhran. A detailed inspection of the flour supply trucking points was carried out. He reviewed in detail the process of scanning the ID cards of the citizens at the flour supply points. Deputy Commissioner Lodhran Mashhad Raza Kazmi, Assistant Commissioner Lodhran Ashraf Saleh and District Food Controller Zaheer Ahmed Mayo were also present on this occasion. Commissioner Multan Division said during the inspection that this year the Punjab Government has given a history making Ramadan package to the people. He said that the Punjab Government will provide free flour to the citizens till 25th of Ramadan. He said that the Chief Minister of Punjab is fully monitoring the provision of free flour to poor people in Ramadan. He said that families with income less than 60 thousand rupees can benefit from this facility. He said that 3 bags of 10 kg flour will be provided free of cost to more than 3 lakh 21 thousand people in Lodhran district. Commissioner Multan Engineer Aamir Khattak described the steps being taken by the district administration to provide free flour to the people as satisfactory. He said that at all points; a shaded place has been made for citizens to sit while sufficient arrangements have been made for security. He said that citizens can check their eligibility to get free flour by texting 8070. Commissioner Aamir Khattak directed the duty officers to improve and speed up the flour supply process keeping in mind the rush of people. He also talked to the citizens and assured them of solving their problems.
