Seminar on infection prevention, control held

Multan:  A seminar regarding infection prevention and control was organized at Hayat Zafar Auditorium Nishtar Medical University.  Vice Chancellor of Nishtar Medical University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed was the chief guest of the seminar while the guest of honor was Principal of Nishtar Medical College Prof. Dr. Rashid Qamar Rao among the other participants were doctors and nurses   Incharge of Pathology Department Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abbas Naqvi, Prof. Dr. Asghar Javed, Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed, Professor Dr. Rashid Qamar Rao, Dr. Muhammad Abbas Naqvi, Professor Dr. Asghar Javed and other senior consultants addressed the seminar and shed light on various topics regarding infection prevention and control.  Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf reviewed the facilities available for students in the new state of the art cafeteria in Mustafa Kamal Pasha Lecture Theater Complex and assured the staff posted there of high quality of food and beverages including cleanliness.  Special instructions to maintain,  he also talked to the students present there and while getting awareness about the problems faced by them, assured them of their immediate solution.
