Kisan rally held to promote agriculture, save Pakistan campaign

Multan: Under the chairmanship of Khalid Mahmood Khokhar, President of Pakistan Kisan Ittehad, a Kisan rally was organized from Nawan Shahr to Press Club in Multan under the chairmanship of Pakistan Kisan Ittehad.  The purpose of this rally is to promote Agriculture, Save Pakistan campaign.  Khalid Mahmood Khokhar, President of Pakistan Kisan Ittehad while addressing the rally said that in the past also when farmers faced difficulties, Pakistan Army played its role to the fullest.  A clear example of this is the great role of the Pakistan Army in getting rid of the serious menace of locusts.  Appreciating the services of Pakistan Army in improving such irrigation system, the participants of the rally raised slogans of Pakistan Army Zindabad. Moreover, the President of Pakistan Kisan Ittehad Khalid Mahmood Khokhar appealed and said that in the current situation, the Pakistan Army should play an active role in helping the farmers as usual to settle the barren lands and increase the agricultural production of the country. He also appealed to the government to help in improving the agricultural economy of Pakistan because improvement in agriculture is the guarantee of improvement in the economy of Pakistan.
