MDA urged to increase land compensation

Multan: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Sheikh Ayoub regarding the problems of owners and tenants who were affected by the expansion of BCG chowk, Trade Union Association Sheikh Shabir Ahmed, Asif Dogar, Malik Mansoor, Muhammad Munawar Khan, Sheikh Yaqoub, Azhar Kazmi, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Saleem, Shahbaz Ahmed, Choudhry Ashraf, Aftab Awan, Hasnain Raza, Sheikh Muhammad Shafique, Khalil Ahmed, Noor Ahmed, Muhammad Azam, Rana Akram, Jam Akbar,  Nazir Gurmani, Sheikh Azeem, and others were participants. Addressing the meeting on this occasion, Sheikh Ayoub said that MDA should increase the land compensation to the effectors from Rs.13 lakhs to market value, No case will be accepted till our demand will accept and it is requested that the tenants affected by the MDA should be paid a minimum of one year’s rent as the most affected tenants will be affected by this project, Sheikh Shabbir Ahmed while speaking requested that the traders were not taken into confidence while expanding Chowk BCG.
