ABBOTTABAD: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi has said that Imran Khan came in to government under a conspiracy to “roll back CPEC and ruined the economy of the country”.
He made these remarks at the Sui gas project’s Rs 597 million opening ceremony in the Abbottabad suburbia village of Baganwala. Numerous people from various walks of life and former MPA Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha were also present. The minister added that Imran Khan fled from the courts after leaving the treasury empty. He continued, “Hakim Saeed and Dr. Israr Ahmed predicted an agenda, which is reflected in the trend of disobeying court rulings.
Nawaz Sharif and PML-N got 13 years of power in this country, and 70% of Pakistan’s development projects were attributed to the PML(N)and Nawaz Sharif, the minister said.
Murtaza Javed Abbasi while criticizing Imran Khan said the latter had a long list of corruption cases starting from Toshakhana to others, and today, he was granted bail in nine cases within a minute, on the other side Nawaz Sharif faced 120 charges in 6 months.
The minister said that Nawaz Sharif was a hero of the nation who made Pakistan atomic power and brought the country on the path of progress and prosperity.
He said that Nawaz Sharif left his sick wife in the hospital and went to jail with his innocent daughter, he did not violate the law and constitution. He said that Imran Khan dissolved the provincial assemblies by persuading members to resign, instead of taking the country forward through the democratic system and destroying the economy.
Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, stated that the promise made to the people in 2016 had now been fulfilled. He said that whenever Pakistan Muslim League-N brought a project, efforts were made to stop it so that the credit would not be given to the party.
Murtaza Abbassi said that in Hazara Circle Wapda, only 800 employees were working out of 2,400 approved positions, but after the approval of the Hazara Electricity Supply Company (HESCO), the number has reached 7,800.
He said that projects worth Rs. 24 billion had been completed in Haripur, Manshera and Abbottabad, and after the accountability of PTI new general elections would also be held.
