LAHORE: Imran Khan, the former prime minister, will appear before the Lahore High Court (LHC) to request bail in several cases brought against him. According to sources, the PTI chairman will appear at the LHC sometime after 3 pm. They added that prior to Khan’s departure, the party workers were instructed to assemble at Zaman Park so they could travel with him. In nine cases, the PTI leader has approached the LHC to request protective bail. Four of those cases are in Lahore, and five are in Islamabad. Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Justice Farooq Haider will make up a two-person bench that will hear any bail requests made in relation to cases brought under the terrorism sections. Justice Saleem will also hear the bail case in the interim.
