Several held for attacking census team

Sahiwal: In the limits of Fateh Sher Police Station, a nearby village of Sahiwal, the local thugs attacked the census staff and severely beat them up and injured them. SHO Police Station Fateh Sher Waqas Dhakko took immediate action and arrested the accused. According to the details, the incident of harassment and torture of census staff in Sahiwal took place in 80/5R Sahiwal. Where SHO Fateh Sher Waqas Dhakko registered an FIR against those who harassed and tortured the census staff. Waheed Alam, posted on census duty, reported on the police emergency number that 5 to 6 people attacked him with sticks and suits during the census in 80/5R Sahiwal. The duty staff escaped with great difficulty along with the constable Muhammad Iftikhar on duty. SHO Waqas Dhakko registered a case against 3 to 4 person including Mirza Muhammad Imran alias Mani, Shahbaz alias Baz and Maqsood alias Kali on the request of census staff and arrested the accused by taking immediate action.
