Vehari: Deputy Commissioner Syed Asif Hussain Shah chaired a meeting regarding Ramadan package and public welfare initiatives. In the meeting, the distribution of free flour to the public, provision of food items at cheap rates was reviewed in the month of Ramadan. Deputy Commissioner Syed Asif Hussain Shah said on the occasion that free flour will be provided to low-income families in the month of Ramadan on the instructions of the Punjab government. In the month of Ramadan, 3 bags of 10 kg flour will be provided on an ID card. Apart from this, critical markets have been established for the public. In critical markets, quality food items are being sold at cheap prices. So that people don’t have to face any kind of problem. Deputy Commissioner Syed Asif Hussain Shah, while giving instructions regarding public welfare initiatives, said that all the relevant departments should continue to work in full capacity. Eliminate encroachments. Attention should be paid to cleanliness at bus stands. Sewage manholes should be covered. He added that all street lights should be functional. Sewage and drainage should be cleaned regularly. Ponds and ponds should be eliminated. Garbage should be picked up daily. Special attention should be given to all green belts to beautify and beautify them. Wall chalking should be abolished.
