Punjab Culture Day celebrated at Islamia University Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur: On the direction of Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur, events were organized in all the campuses of Islamia University Bahawalpur on the occasion of Punjab Cultural Day. Punjab Culture Day was also celebrated in Bahawalnagar with the support of campus Islamia University and district administration. Campus Director Islamia University Bahawalnagar Rafaqat Bajwa perform a very important role in promoting Punjabi culture and Punjabi culture.  Opportunities were provided to promote the talent of the students.  Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtesham made a special appearance and visited all the stalls of Bahawalnagar Campus Islamia University and appreciated the efforts of Director Bahawalnagar Campus Dr. Rafaqat Bajwa.  These events include seminars, exhibitions and cultural performances.  A cultural walk was organized in connection with the Punjab Cultural Day celebrations with the support of the district administration, in which students and faculty of the University College of Art and Design participated in large numbers.  IUB flower stall was also set up in this cultural walk.  Students represented different cultures by wearing different costumes and presented different performances and painting and art exhibitions were organized.  College of Art and Design presented the cultural clothes, ornaments and precious items of Punjab for exhibition. Students organized a seminar on the uniqueness of the culture of Punjab organized by Cultural Promotion Society. Students performed folk dance to the beat of drums and presented a photo exhibition at the Hakra Art Gallery.  Students wore traditional clothes highlighting Punjabi culture.  Apart from this, a Kabaddi match was organized in the traditional sports of Punjab in the Directorate of Sports.
