Salman Khan urges ROs, AROs to perform their duties diligently

Bahawalnagar: Deputy Commissioner/District Returning Officer Bahawalnagar Salman Khan Lodhi has said that all Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) are very responsible for making the process of provincial assembly elections clean, transparent, fair, free and impartial in Bahawalnagar district like the whole province.  Perform the constitutional duties diligently and in this regard also appoint their own focal persons. Maintain coordination with the officers of the Election Commission and ensure the timely provision of information required by them.  It should be ensured so that the election process can be completed peacefully through mutual cooperation, he expressed these views while addressing an emergency meeting of the returning officers and assistant returning officers at the DC office.  But the Deputy Commissioner also administered the oath to the elected Returning and Assistant Returning Officers.
