Special children can play an important role in the society: Assistant Commissioner Chaudhry Rameez Zafar

Mian Channu: An inter-tehsil sports competition organized by the Government Special Education Department was organized at the cricket ground of Mian Channu in which the students of special schools of Mian Channu, Kabirwala, Jahanian and Abdul Hakeem participated in the games. Kabaddi and gymnastics competitions including tug-of-war, 100m race, sack race and chatti race were held among speech-impaired, physically challenged children.
The children showed their talents by actively participating in the games, the enthusiasm of the special children was visible, the participants encouraged the children well,
Assistant Commissioner Chaudhry Rameez Zafar formally inaugurated the games.
Assistant Commissioner said that the purpose of such event for special children is to make them a brave person so that like normal children, special children can also play an important role in the society by participating in such activities.
In which District Sports Officer Mohammad Hafeez, DO Special Education Mian Majid, Principal Ghazia Sahar, Tehsil Sports Officer Mohammad Majid, Rescue 1122 in-charge Sohail Akhtar, Ayaz Khan Afridi and other distinguished guests participated. Motivated the children by distributing trophies, shields and medals.
