Multan: In connection with the International Women’s Day, an exhibition was organized for women at the local hotel (Ramada) on Abdali Road, in which stalls of clothing and jewelery were set up by women artisans and various companies, and a special beauty parlor was also held. Mrs. Farah Faisal also set up a stall on behalf of All Pakistan Women’s Association (Apwa) on this occasion, while women were provided clothes, jewelery and other items at discounted rates in the exhibition. The exhibition continued from morning to 8 pm. During the visit by families, especially women in large numbers, Mrs. Farah Faisal said that the purpose of the exhibition is to introduce the work of women and make them economically independent so that the work of our hardworking and honest women can be appreciated and they can be economically empowered. She said that the All Pakistan Women’s Association under the leadership of Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar is trying to provide opportunities for women to grow in the economic and social field at the level of Pakistan, which will be also yielded other fields.
