Deputy Commissioner Salman Khan reviews arrangements for provincial assembly polls

Bahawalnagar: Deputy Commissioner Salman Khan Lodhi directed the district administrative officers and departments to be ready and provide facilities at the proposed polling stations and utilize all the resources in connection with the election in 8 constituencies of the provincial assembly (PA)  in Bahawalnagar district.  In the meeting held in connection with the arrangements for the provincial assembly election in the five tehsils of Minchinabad, Bahawalnagar, Chishtian, Haroonabad, Fort Abbas, he added that strict arrangements will be made according to the instructions of the Election Commission and the government. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioners, officers of all departments participated.  In the meeting, a detailed briefing was given by the District Election Commission regarding the arrangements regarding the elections, the situation of the proposed polling stations, the challenges faced, and other issues.
