Sports gala organized at Bahaud din Zakariya University, Multan

Multan: Under the auspices of Department of Sociology, Bahaud din Zakariya University, Multan and Young Pakistanis Organization, the annual two-day sports gala started at Sports Complex BZU Multan. The special guests were Chairman Department of Sociology BZU Multan, Dr. Akmal Hashmi, Dr. Kamran Ashfaq, President Young Pakistanis Organization Naeem Iqbal Naeem, Regional Project Manager Superior Group of Colleges South Punjab Sheikh Adil Farooq, Rashid Abbas Khan, Hamid Rafique, Dr. Saima Afzal, Dr. Tehmina Sattar, Dr. Shafaq Ayoub and Dr. Rana Zahid.  Zulfiqar inaugurated the sports gala by cutting the ribbon and speaking on the occasion, he said that where sports fields are inhabited, hospitals are deserted.  Sports gala is an important effective means of attracting youth back to sports. On this occasion, various sports including cricket, badminton, football, 100 meters race, tug-of-war were played between the teams of different classes of Department of Sociology.  The organizers of the sports gala on this occasion were the teachers and students of Department of Sociology BZU Multan, while the sports gala was held in collaboration with UAE Group of Associates and Fourteen Street Pizza.
