Practical measures being taken to address public grievances: Deputy Commissioner Agha Zahir

Khangarh: Deputy Commissioner Agha Zahir Abbas Shirazi  said that practical measures are being taken to resolve public grievances and it is the responsibility of all of us to keep our city clean within the current resources, keep the environment around us clean and encourage others to do the same.

Deputy Commissioner.Agha Zahir Abbas Shirazi said while inaugurating the 15-day cleaning campaign in Muzaffargarh that on the instructions of the Punjab government, a district-wide cleanliness campaign has been started, during the campaign, garbage will be picked up from all over the city, and focus will be placed on places where sanitation issues are weak.  He said that all municipal committees have prepared their own plans, assistant commissioners of tehsils and chief officers of municipal committees will supervise the campaign.  The Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the public to actively participate in making this campaign a success and to fully cooperate with the staff of the Municipal Corporation.  A rally was taken out from DC office to Kachary Chowk to raise awareness of cleanliness among the people, led by Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Imran Shams, Assistant Commissioner Muzaffargarh Nasir Shehzad Dogar, and Anjuman Tajran.  Sheikh Aamir Saleem, Malik Javed Akhtar along with the officers and staff of Municipal Corporation participated.
