Higher benchmarks are always beneficial for growth, and KGF: Chapter 2 also ran riot with its Hindi version collecting Rs 434.70 crores in the times when pandemic was the running excuse for other big budget Bollywood films not doing well, there was desperation within the Hindi film industry too to deliver something truly big.

Pathaan, who had already amassed Rs 529.86 crores when Friday’s numbers increased to Rs 1.07 crore, also forced Bahubali to bite dust, and in style! The landmark has finally been successfully crossed, and the best part is that more will follow since it hasn’t yet disappeared. After the weekend, collections will increase once more. Monday and Tuesday will also be busy days, but Wednesday will see the release of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Having said that, one can anticipate strong Pathaan sales on this day as well, given that it is the Holi holiday. It should eventually surpass Rs 520 crores in just the Hindi version, and overall, as it has, it should reach Rs 540 crores.
