NMU VC Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed reviews facilities including linear accelerator, pet scan and cyberknife technology

Multan. Nishtar Medical University Vice Chancellor  Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed visited Nishtar Cancer Center and reviewed the available medical facilities for cancer patients in detail. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ejaz Masood, incharge of Cancer Center, gave a briefing to the Vice Chancellor about the facilities provided. MS Nishtar Hospital Multan Dr. Rao Amjad Ali Khan and administrative officers were also present on the occasion along with Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University. Prof. Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed also reviewed the progress regarding the installation of linear accelerator, pet scan and cyber knife technology during his visit. He expressed his satisfaction over the medical facilities provided and the speed of the construction works, he termed all these projects as an important milestone in the treatment of cancer and assured the team of the Oncology Department of his full cooperation. Besides, Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed also visited the Nishtar Lab established in Nishtar Hospital and reviewed the testing facilities provided for the diagnosis of diseases. Professor Rana Altaf Ahmed directed the staff posted in the lab not to compromise on quality and standards including uninterrupted provision of testing facilities. Staff reporter
