Patrolling Police foil smuggle bid

Uch Sharif: Patrolling Police Khairpur Daha foiled the big smuggling of Iranian Sikkim Milk (Milk). The patrolling police team led by the outpost in-charge Malik Bashir seized hundreds of bags full of non-customs Sikkim Milk.  Patrolling Police Khairpur Daha’s big operation seized a bag full of non-custom Sikkim goods smuggled from Iran. Hundreds of non-custom bags of Sikkim goods were being smuggled from Iran to Multan.  Malik Bashir, in-charge of Patrol Post Khairpur Daha, took the suspects into custody and handed over the smuggled Sikkim milk and the vehicle used in smuggling to the customs authorities.  He said that thwarting the ambitions of elements involved in the alleged business of smuggling is among the priorities of the Punjab Highway Patrol Police. He said that the operations of the patrol police against such elements have been intensified.
