Citizens urged to fully cooperate with census enumerators

Vehari: Like the whole country, the 7th National House and Census has been started in Vehari district as well. Deputy Commissioner Syed Asif Hussain Shah and DPO Essa Khan inaugurated the seventh census by cutting the ribbon at the house of Abdul Salam ul Haq Babu in Daniwal town. And also did a house count by putting numbers on the house. While tabbed information entry was also reviewed. ADC Revenue Muhammad Tayyab Khan, AC Vehari Kamran Afzal Bukhari and AC Coordination Muhammad Shafiq were also present on this occasion. Deputy Commissioner Syed Asif Hussain Shah and DPO Muhammad Essa Khan while talking to the media representatives on this occasion said that the national census will continue from March 1 to April 1, 2023. Vehari district has been divided into 2 thousand 571 blocks for house and census. 1,492 enumerators and 225 supervisors will perform duties in the house and census. He said that digital census is being conducted for the first time across the country. Census will be effective for the welfare of the people and the development of the country in the future. During the census enumerators will go door to door to collect information on tablets. He said to fully cooperate with the teams coming for the urban census and give correct information and data to the urban enumerators. Enumerators will count economic activities along with the census. Census is a national duty which everyone has to perform in a good manner. Enumerators and supervisors should perform duties with national spirit.
