Imran’s comical ‘Jail Bharo’ show ends in fiasco: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s comedic “Jail Bharo” (court arrest) campaign, according to Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, has been a complete failure. In a tweet tagging the PTI leader’s announcement to end his party’s court arrest drive, she claimed that the movement would in fact get underway with Imran Khan being imprisoned for the crimes he had committed while in office.

She recalled that it was Imran Khan’s duty as prime minister to protect the Constitution, but he coerced the president, speaker, and deputy speaker of the National Assembly into breaking it under the guise of a “foreign conspiracy,” which was a complete fabrication.

“It will be a mockery of the Constitution and law if ‘the foreign agent, Tosha Khana thief and violator of the Constitution, were not brought to justice,” she said.
