PTI’s vandalism in judicial complex is contemptuous and alarming: Sherry Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Senator Sherry Rehman, Federal Minister for Climate Change, said on Tuesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demonstration and vandalism in the judicial complex was alarming and amounted to contempt of court.

The federal minister responded to PTI chief Imran Khan’s appearance before the Court in various cases. Senator Sherry Rehman claimed that PTI chief Imran Khan was staging a drama in Lahore and today on the grounds of the Islamabad High Court. “Imran Khan is appearing in court with a procession in order to influence the court and avoid arrest,” she added. She stated that the court should take note of this organized protest and attack. “The court should not always wait for the appearance of a proven thief,” she added.
