ISLAMABAD: Senator Sherry Rehman, the federal minister for climate change, demanded on Monday that the Supreme Court appoint a full court bench to hear the case involving the interpretation of Article 63 in order to put an end to the appearance of “like-mindedness.”
The nation’s attention was focused on the Supreme Court, according to the federal minister, following the suo moto notice regarding the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sherry Rehman asserted that the formation of a full court bench was a legitimate request from the coalition government’s political parties to the honorable court. Senator Rehman continued, “The legitimate demand of a Full Court Bench was also rejected on the issue of the interpretation of Article 63.” This decision is controversial in the country, according to political parties, academics, and average citizens.
