ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government has decided to allocate plenty of resources to youth in order to help them become self-sufficient and contribute to the development of the nation.
The prime minister stated that an inclusive approach would be extended to the youth in order to mainstream them in his video message on “Youth Week,” which will be observed across the nation.Shehbaz Sharif mentioned that 2023 had been designated as the year of the youth, during which time a number of initiatives aimed at emancipating them would be introduced.He declared that activities would be held all over the nation to promote youth participation, who make up 68 percent of the population.
The distinguished youth and students, he said, would receive laptops. The prime minister recalled that during its administrations, his party had introduced numerous initiatives for young people, such as the Punjab Education Endowment Fund, soft loans, and scholarships. According to him, the youth program had been expanded in light of the importance of young people as a human resource for the growth of the country.
