Soldier Zaheer Ahmad embraced martyrdom as Indian army resorted to unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) in Thub Sector, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Thursday.
Martyred Soldier Zaheer Ahmad belonged to Sultanpur village of Humber.
Army media wing reported that the Indian forces opened cross-border fire in Sultanpur village, however, Pakistan Army troops retaliated effectively and engaged enemy’s posts involved in unprovoked firing.
Earlier, on November 7, Capt Zarghaam Fareed embraced martyrdom while neutralizing an IED detected at Mohmad Gat in Mohmand Distt. The 25 years old was unmarried and belonged to Sargodha.
ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor informed on Twitter, “Another son of soil laid his life while performing duty. Capt Zarghaam Fareed embraced martyrdom while neutralising an IED detected at Mohmad Gat in Mohmand Distt.”
He wrote, “Sepoy Rehan of bomb disposal team got critically injured. 25 years old Capt Zarghaam was unmarried and belonged to Sargodha.”
