LPP organizes free eye camp for deserving people

Multan: Lodhran Pilot Project has organized 2-Day Free eye camp in Lodhran for underprivileged
community to provide them free eye care with the support and financial assistance of renowned
Philanthropist, Mr. Jahangir Khan Tareen. During the Free eye camp, more than 916 patients from all
over the Pakistan have been checked up by professional doctors and ophthalmologists, whereas free
medicines were also distributed among the patients. At the camp, arranged for the provision of
maximum support to deserving communities, 150 Free Cataract surgeries have also been performed.
The patients at the camp were extremely thankful to Mr. Jahangir Khan Tareen and Ali Khan Tareen for
the provision of free treatment and medication. “They have been proved a beacon of light for the
people belonging from marginalized communities” a patient shared. In rural areas, due to poverty and
high inflation, majority of local community members don't have any access to health facilities especially
for the eye treatment and surgery. Mr. Jahangir Khan Tareen pledged to provide maximum support to
deserving communities. In his massage, Mr. JKT said that “We are facilitating underprivileged
communities with the aim to assist them through all possible ways and we will continue our efforts with
same zeal and determination” further he added.
