ISLAMABAD,: The chief justice of Islamabad High Court has issued a notice to the attorney general of Pakistan in the PECA Amendment Ordinance case.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the case on Monday. The court issued notice to the attorney general on the petition of PPP leader and ex-senator Farhatullah Babar.
The court also summoned a report from the Federal Investigation Agency regarding all pending complaints registered under the Section 20 of the PECA Act.
The court ordered to club the petition of Farhatullah Babar with other petitions challenging the PECA amendments and fixed the hearing of the case for March 10.
