Zareen Khan credits Salman Khan for debut, not success

Zarin Khan admits that he owes a large part of his debut to superstar Salman Khan but says that his struggle was personal.

Speaking to Hindustan Times in a recent interview, Zareen, who has completed 12 years in the Indian film industry, says that his success is due to the limited role of his co-star.

“I am grateful to Salman because if it were not for him, I would never have entered the industry. It got me into the industry. But my struggle started after I became part of the industry because I didn’t know anything then. Salman is an amazing person but he is also a busy man. I can’t be a monkey on his back and bother him with small things. To this day many people think that whatever I do is done through it and this is not true. Salman is a friend and just a phone call away but I’m not bothering him. And it undermines the struggle, the hard work that I have put in. ”
