It will not be exaggerated to say that the role of SAINTS, (Sahaban-e-Waqt)Clergymen, religious scholars, and different religious organizations/activists remained always important and integral to create harmony and peace among the masses in the country said by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor ul Haq Qardri during the visit he paid at Dargah Baba Irfani, Sunder Sharif, Multan road Lahore recently. Qadri met here with Syed Mohammad Habib Irfani Chishti, Sajjada Nasheen, who is also possessing the Portfolio of Central Secretary, PTI Religious Affairs Wing.
The PTI Government is committed to enhance and promote the interfaith harmony to strengthen the Pakistan without any prejudice, Government will take strict action against banned outfits responsible for fanning sectarian violence and making sacrilegious comments about Ashab-e-Rasool (SAW),Ahle-Bait-Athaar at social media to make religious anarchy in the country. Kashmir and Palestine are the burning issues of the Muslim Ummah and to resolve these issues, OIC, UNO and world bodies should play their effective, vital and proactive role. They also condemned desecration of the Holy Quran in European countries and termed publication of caricatures of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) as deplorable incidents stating that these incidents will undermine all endeavour’s to promote interfaith dialogue and harmony.
Both the PTI Leaders agreed on the point that there must be complete ban on publishing of hateful religious contents, hate speeches, outrageous literature and books based on hateful content, CDs, websites carrying seditious content be banned. Similarly there should be absolutely ban on biased and outrageous religious slogans and no sacrilegious remarks be passed. They also discuss and decided to cripple all sectarian abnormalities against Islam as well as the sovereignty of State. We are bound to follow the ideology of Hazrat Quaid-e-Azam (RA) and visionary directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who poured a new spirit of enthusiasm and patriotism among the nation.
S M Habib Irfani emphasised that we will never allowed any further division of religion in the name of Islam because have already been victimized on the same ground, He focused that some hidden forces cannot be successful to use the card of Shia and Suniz, further said that the Constitution of Pakistan provides equal rights with excellent opportunities to all minorities without any discrimination. Qadri visited the Irfania Mosque and admired highly, the way of Turkish style of construction. Minister was introduced with the Syed Akhyar Habib Irfani, the President of Al-Akhyar foundation and the team of foreign qualified Medical expert/professionals in the field of Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dermatology, Gynecology, Neonatology, Rheumatology, Radiology, later visits Irfania Higher Secondary School and shown deep interest to meet the academicians of different subjects to promote quality education. He was presented Holy book “Irfan ul Quran” translated by Syed Mohammad Wajih us Seema Irfani (RA)the veteran journalist and broadcaster,at the end of the visit S M Habib Irfani prayed for the solidarity of Pakistan, amity, peace and harmony in the country.
