Five laborers shot dead by unknown assailants in Gwadar

Five laborers were shot dead by unidentified persons on Wednesday night while they were working in Jiwani area of the port city of Gwadar.

According to Levies officials, the laborers were busy working at the construction site of a private housing scheme in Ganz neighbourhood of Jiwani when they were shot dead by the suspects, who fled.

Three other laborers were wounded in the incident.

The deceased and the injured hail from Karachi, Sukkur, Peshawar and Khuzdar, Levies officials said.

The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital Gwadar and then dispatched to their native towns.
