28 killed in Israeli strike on school sheltering displaced Palestinians

Medics informed on Thursday that an Israeli airstrike on the Rufaida School in western Deir Al-Balah, which houses displaced persons in the central Gaza Strip, resulted in at least 28 Palestinian deaths and several injuries.
According to AFP, the Israeli military claimed that it had hit a Hamas command headquarters, but the Palestinian Red Crescent said that an Israeli airstrike on a Gaza school had killed at least 28 people.
Referring to a school in Deir el-Balah, the charity stated, “Palestine Red Crescent teams responded to 28 fatalities and 54 injuries following the Israeli occupation army’s targeting of Rafida School.”
As the head of UNRWA declared that there was “no end to hell” in northern Gaza, the likelihood of a full-scale conflict in Lebanon did not seem to be decreasing.
