PM felicitates Sadiq Khan on his re-election

On Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Sadiq Khan on being elected to a third term as Mayor of London.

According to a news release from PM Office Media Wing, the prime minister congratulated newly elected Mayor Sadiq Khan “on his hat trick.”

He added, “As a hard-working British Pakistani, he not only lifted his parents’ heads high but also made every Pakistani celebrate his victory with pride.”

The prime minister went on to say that his election for a third term was proof of his popularity and commitment to the general good of the country.

He also wished Sadiq Khan more success in the future.
