The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been given the mandate by Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi to hunt down and prosecute individuals who steal gas and electricity.

The FIA has established special squads to begin the crackdown on gas and power thieves in accordance with the interior minister’s orders.

Mohsin Naqvi called for strong legal action against those stealing gas and energy on Thursday while presiding over an important meeting in Islamabad.

The federal minister was presented with a comprehensive report regarding the Greece boat catastrophe by FIA officials during the meeting, and he expressed the belief that all responsible parties should be held accountable for their actions.

Additionally, the federal minister ordered that measures be made against every aspect of human trafficking.
