Anti-national elements trying to sabotage peace: Interior Minister

Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, the acting federal minister for interior,  harshly denounced the shooting incident that occurred on a passenger bus in the Chilas district of Gilgit-Baltistan late on Saturday night. The Minister expressed regret and grief over the passengers’ death  as a result of terrorists’ firing and expressed sincere condolences  with the grieving families of the martyrs and injured, expressing  deep sadness over the loss of innocent lives. The minister stated in his message that attacking civilians is a  cowardly crime, and that while anti-national elements are attempting to undermine Gilgit-Baltistan’s peace, these shameful actions encourage our gallant  troops to combat terrorism with greater vigour and bravery.
